The Eastern Raiders travelled to Chatham in Kent to play the newly formed Kentish Tigers. The Raiders went down to three early tries before rallying to lead 18-16.  The Tigers hit back with two more tries before a late converted try by the Raiders set up a thrilling finish.  However the home side hung on to their slender two point lead. Man of the match for the Tigers was Shaun Tandy with two tries.
