Bedford Tigers II
Have played in the London ARL for the last three seasons. In 2008 they were Minor Premiers and Grand Finalists. First team formed to play in the league in 2004, reaching the Grand Final at the first attempt before being promoted to the RLC.

Eastern Raiders
The third team in the Eastern RL partnership, after Ipswich Rhinos and Colchester Romans, they joined the London ARL in 2006, their best performance to date being a Grand Final appearance in 2006.

Farnborough Falcons
Formed in late 2006, they entered the London Youth League towards the end of that year. They began playing in the London ARL in 2007, and reached the final of the Shield last season.

Feltham Eagles
Prison side based at HMYOI Feltham, their side contains a mixture of warders and prisoners. Have played in the London ARL since 2003, and won the Shield competition in 2006 and 2007.

Hainault Bulldogs II
Entered the London ARL in 2008, finishing sixth in the table, but declining to enter the end of season playoffs. First team had an outstanding debut season in the London ARL in 2007, losing just one match on their way to becoming champions. Coached by former London Broncos and St Cyprien player Kevin Reith.

Hemel Stags II
Entered the London ARL in 2008 for the first time since the 1990s, having played in the RLC in recent years. The club is amongst the longest established in the South of England, having formed in 1981.

Kent Ravens
Re-entered the London ARL in 2008 following a late withdrawal from the RLC Premier League, they eventually reached the semi-finals. Spent two seasons in the League from 2004, winning the Shield in 2005.

London Griffins
Made their debut in the London ARL in 2007, having spent a couple of seasons playing Tag and occasional contact matches. Did not ultimately complete any fixtures in 2008.

Metropolitan Police
Have played sporadically in the London ARL for many years. Winners of the Shield competition in 2008

Norwich Saxons
Completed their first season in the London ARL in 2008. Finished third in the league and reached the Championship semi-finals.

Ossulstone Hundred
Newly formed club who planned to begin play in the London ARL last season, although they did not ultimately complete any fixtures. Based at the University Sports Ground in Chiswick, where the professional Fulham side played in the 1980s

Southgate Skolars
A joint side run by London Skolars and the Southgate College side. They have competed in the London ARL since 2007, although the Skolars have a long history in the competition. Reached the Championship semi finals in 2007.

South London Storm II
Re-entered the London ARL in 2006 and became champions that year. They have been less successful in the last two seasons, although they have reached the Championship playoffs on both occasions.

Southampton Spitfires
Joined the London ARL towards the end of the 2007 season, playing an introductory game. Finished third in the table in 2008, before being knocked out of the Championship semi-finals by the eventual champions.

St Albans Centurions II
Re-entered the London ARL in 2007 after three seasons in the RLC. Their best performance to date was a Grand Final appearance in 2003.

St Ives Roosters II
Entered the London ARL for the first time in 2008. First team played in the competition from their formation in the early 1990s until their promotion to the RLC in 2003.

West London Sharks II
Have been playing in the London ARL since 2000, the only ever present team in the league's current format. They are the current champions after beating Bedford Tigers II in last season's Grand Final, repeating their title success of 2003.
